hmmm. I didn't know this kind of things still happened, but i do remember some random programs that let this sort of thing happen. There probably is out there a program that lets blocked people stay blocked, but i don't know.

Assuming we're talking MSN, if you delete someone rather than block them, or forget to block them when you're deleting them, it doesn't delete you from their list, and doesn't hide your online/offline status. As far as they're concerned, you're still on their list and never deleted them.

My friend had that happen to her a bunch of times.

This one was definitely blocked and then deleted...and is now blocked again, but I guess not for long.

She blocks'em, and they get new IDs or something. I think there's a creep survey you take for that kind of power.
